THE FAST GROWTH ENTREPRENEURS CLUB IN
NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH SANTANDER
The Fast Growth Entrepreneurs Club is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Santander UK Breakthrough programme. The Club, established in 2011, is an intimate yet dynamic networking club for leaders of fast growth companies, investors and selected advisors. The new partnership will bring club members and Breakthrough businesses together to share ideas, provide mutual inspiration and support to one another.
The Fast Growth Entrepreneurs Club attracts the support of some of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs and members have heard about ’the highs and lows’ of building a brand from the likes of Luke Johnson, Rob Baines of SNOG Pure Frozen Yoghurt and Kevin Byrne of Checkatrade.com to name a few. Russell Hall, mobile technology entrepreneur and co-founder of Hailo, the black cab mobile application will be talking at the first event of 2014 on Tuesday 28th January.
Santander’s Breakthrough programme aims to help small businesses unlock their potential. As part of the programme, Santander is making up to £200 million of growth capital loans available to fast-growth companies looking to invest in and grow their business.
In addition to finance, Breakthrough also offers companies access to support and development programmes not typically available to SMEs, such as international trade missions, and masterclasses with renowned business leaders to learn first-hand how to boost business growth.
The Club is the brainchild of Melissa Gilmour, CEO of Lily and Piper. Teresa Quinlan of Love PR & Communications joined Melissa as a partner in 2013. The pair are working together on growing the Club further in 2014. Members, who meet regularly in London at evening receptions, are also invited to attend workshops and network online. We are hoping to introduce breakfast meetings in 2014.
