Ross “Smudger” Smith, an up and coming English Darts player will be playing the most important game of his career this month against the current PDC Order of Merit number four, Australian player Simon Whitlock.

At only 24 years of age, Ross who now lives in Bolton but hails from South East London, has already appeared in several televised tournaments in the UK and abroad and showed his fantastic potential in June this year when he hit his first televised 9 dart finish against World number three, Adrian Lewis. Smith also finished number one on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit, winning four events during the year. The highlight of his career to date will be playing “The Wizard” Simon Whitlock. The two will go head to head on Tuesday 17th December in round one of this year’s PDC World Championships at AlexandraPalace, London.

The PDC World Championships are available to view live online on from December 13th- 1st January 2014.
