We are delighted to announce that multi award-winning comedienne, writer, producer and business woman Angie Le Mar, will be in Washington DC today hosting the second show of the very successful Ladies Talk International series! Coming to you from all over the world, the show sees Angie (brand ambassador for join with different women from all walks of life to chat about who they are today.

Ladies Talk International is not your ordinary chat show; it is a chat show with a twist. Inspired by her own appearance on the popular UK daytime chat show Loose Women (very similar to America’s The View), Angie created the show to set a multi cultural balance in today’s media. With extraordinary women on every panel you will hear personal stories told proudly and passionately, as well as conversations on taboo subjects that are often overlooked. Each of Angie Le Mar’s guests will tell all about their lives, what’s important to them, and the challenges and obstacles they have overcome to get where they are today. It’s never an easy journey.

The panel today includes: A’lelia Bundles – Madam CJ Walker’s great, great granddaughter, author and President of the Madam Walker/A’lelia Walker Family Archives; Marcia Dyson – Civil – Social Activist and President and CEO of M and M Dyson LLC; Dr Claire Alicia Nelson – PHd Futurist, Development Engineer, Social Entrepreneur Founder & President Institute of Caribbean Studies-DC; Beverley East -  Graphologist, a court-qualified Forensic Document Examiner and Author who works in her home city of Washington DC, and in Jamaica;

Ladies Talk International will be filmed in Washington DC today at The Sequoia Restaurant. This event is scheduled to coincide with Black History Month

Following London, It will be the second in the series, hosted by Angie, of an international conversation with New York, South Africa and Jamaica all scheduled for later in the year.

The first in the series of Ladies Talk International filmed in London last month will be screened in association with Women in Film & Video of Washington, DC at the iconic Bus Boys and Poets this evening Tuesday 22 October from 19.00 to 21.00 EDT. London panellists were Jasmine Dotiwala – Producer, director, broadcaster, columnist/radio pundit; Michelle Gayle – Soul R&B artist, songwriter, actress and author; Janelle Oswald – Journalist, showbiz columnist and radio show host; Ellen Thomas – Award-winning actress from theatre, TV and film; Dona Croll – Award-winning actress from theatre, TV and film; Jackie G Michaels – Entrepreneur, lifestyle expert, writer and TV panellist.
