EPIC Energy has joined forces with Chichester Honda to support 17-year-old talented MXY2 rider Ollie Osmaston from West Sussex. Ollie will be competing at the British Motocross Grand Prix, in his group on his epic ride, Chichester Honda, Honda CRF250R, over the late May bank holiday weekend.
The British Motocross Grand Prix Weekend is set to return to the award winning circuit of MatterleyBasin, Winchester, on 23rd-24th May. Set in the beautiful South Down’s National Park, the track is loved all for its panoramic viewing. Saturday will see the rider’s take part in practice and qualification races, while Sunday will be filled with some epic action and hard fought battles.
After enjoying riding around a farm on a Yamaha mini bike at the tender age of 3, Ollie began competing in Motocross events at the young age of 6. During that year, he came 2nd in Portsmouth Club Championship. This spurred him on and he continued to do so well he is now a regular on the podiums at Nationals. He currently sits second in the British Championship.
Ollie recently competed in ARENACROSSUK for the first time, and despite a strong challenge from rival Joe Clayton, he managed to take 1st Place! Massive congratulations to him and long may his success continue.
Epic Energy team wishes Ollie the best of luck at MatterleyBasin on 23rd-24th May.
